Description
Cable staples are used for fastening and securing wires & cables, such as telephone wires, electrical wires and DSL cables. Gardner Bender cable staples feature UV-resistant polyethylene saddles that resist rot, rust & deterioration and are capable of securing Category 5 & Category 3 UTP voice / data cables.
Features
- The two most critical parts of a cable staple are the gear and lever.
- The lever serves as the power source of the staple gun, as it obtains mechanical energy when the lever is pulled.
- These cable staples have a clamp that holds the wires and serves as an insertion point. Some staple guns have heavy clamps that tightly grip the wires beneath them.
