Q. What is the difference between a cap nut and an acorn nut?
A.
- Cap nuts are available in variants made of plated steel, brass and stainless steel (commonly used for decorative projects). Acorn nuts are usually made of plated steel or stainless steel. Both kinds are frequently polished to a bright finish.
- Both nuts are available in coarse & fine thread options, but cap nuts may be less expensive than the larger-sized acorn nuts.

A. The main objective of tire beads is to firmly fasten the tire to the outside of the wheel. It accomplishes this by firmly moulding the rubber to the frame of the wheel and utilising the pressure applied by the wires. The bead enables more effective transmission of forces when the vehicle travels, creating an airtight seal against the wheel.
