These Destaco 6001 Series straight line action clamps are ideal for heavy duty applications in the aerospace, automotive and food & packaging industries. They are used for applying clamping force to secure workpieces in limited space and are designed for applications requiring repetitive movements & clamp opening / closing such as fixturing & testing, assembling, gluing, soldering, CNC machining and plastic injection molding. These clamps are made of steel / stainless steel to resist corrosion and have robust construction for durability. Destaco 6001 Series employ clamping force from the side rather than the top to secure workpieces in applications having limited space and their mounting pattern accessories can be flipped with the brand's 601 Series. They have a flanged base with threaded holes for easy installation and come integrated with a lever handle that engages the round plunger to press against a workpiece & hold it in place. The ergonomic handle is slanted forward to provide adequate grip as well as ensure over center locking in both retracted and extended position. These Destaco 6001 Series straight line action clamps are capable of holding 50% more loads than the brand's 601 Series of up to 150 lb and come configured with a flanged base having threaded holes to allow easy and secure mounting of the units to a worktable or flat surface. They accommodate Destaco hex head stainless steel spindles for maximum holding force and to deliver high performance workholding, automation and containment solutions.
