The bars fit onto the roller, enabling better control of the roller unit. They have high-strength annealed ductile iron construction for durability. The long length of the steering bars generates more rotational torque for turning the rollers, without inducing operator fatigue. These bars are length adjustable and the T-handle can replaced with a shorter or longer one by simply removing the nut.
