Features

  • Proto puller sets or separator sets feature 2 or 3 jaw configured pullers to distribute the applied force evenly.
  • They include detachable tips and crossarms for efficient gripping & functioning of the pullers.
  • Selected models have steel / moulded plastic / blow moulded construction for the safety of tools.
  • Some Proto puller sets comprise all other tools such as bearing separators, adaptors, forcing nuts, coupling nuts, forcing screws, lock screws, thrust washers, spring clips, cap screws and long narrow jaws.
  • They are capable of handling force up to 10 tons.

Working Mechanism

  • These pullers or separators work by rotating a crossbar that will move the force screw or the centre bolt towards the shaft.
  • The puller legs are placed around the part.
  • The puller screw is tightened against the shaft to apply maximum pressure for removing the part from the shaft.
