Description

Flojet industrial-grade diaphragm pumps are designed to transfer liquids with low, medium or high viscosities. These pumps feature a polypropylene housing combined with a sealed motor that enables the pump to handle a higher dry vacuum. The self-priming design of these pumps allows them to be installed above the supply tank level. They are further integrated with a sealed pressure switch that automatically starts and stops the pump when the discharge valve opens and closes, respectively. Selected models come with a built-in thermal protector to switch off the device, in case of overloading. Choose from a wide range of these diaphragm pumps available in flow rates ranging from 2.3 to 3.5 gpm, on Raptor Supplies.

Working Mechanism

  • Industrial diaphragm pumps use a flexible diaphragm as their main component.
  • When the diaphragm moves, it creates a vacuum, drawing fluid through an inlet valve.
  • As the diaphragm reverses its motion, it pressurises the fluid, forcing it out through an outlet valve.
  • The diaphragm's back-and-forth motion moves fluid through the system.
