Abrasive sharpening stones are used to sharpen the edges of metal cutting tools and deburr, clean and smoothen out workpieces or surfaces. Raptor Supplies offers a huge variety of these sharpening stones from brands like 3M, DMT, Marshalltown, Norton Abrasives and PFERD. These stones sharpen the edges of steel tools through grinding and honing. Selected models are made from artificial abrasive material and have two sides - a coarser side for heavier work and a finer side for finishing applications. To hone sharp edges on chisels, knives and razors, we also have flat, rectangular sharpening stones and square-shaped stones for delivering fine finishes and small implements like keys. The slim sharpening files allow easy deburring and chamfering in hard-to-reach areas of machine parts.
