323, 331, 341 Series Pull Action Latch Clamps
Destaco 323, 331, 341 Series pull action latch clamps are designed for quick clamping of doors, lids or access covers onto drums / containers / vessels. They have holding capacity ranging between 360 & 2000 lb and feature a flanged base. Some models are equipped with Destaco Toggle Lock Plus safety mechanism that acts as a secondary locking system. They are also supplied with a latch plate and a thumb control lever for flexible single handed operation. Stainless steel versions are available as -SS models. These units are available in lengths ranging from 6 to 12.8 inches.
Destaco also offers these clamps with longer hooks (models ending with -M-25, -M-50, or -M-100) that are 25, 50 or 100 mm longer than the standard length. These pull action latch clamps work similarly to latch on fishing tackle boxes. They are equipped with a handle that is appropriately aligned with the opposing latch. The handle can be pulled back down into the locking position, making it ideal for closing objects such as mold closures and latching doors. Destaco 323, 331, 341 Series pull action latch clamps apply the force in a direct, straight-line direction that allows the unit to toggle in the forward and the rear position. This is particularly useful in situations where the operator occasionally requires the clamp, rather than to push forward and apply the force, to pull forward and apply the force. Additionally, it also offers an advantage when the clamp is mounted vertically with the handle in the back position, stopping components from falling forwards as the handle is behind the component in the lock position.
Uses
These Destaco 323, 331, 341 Series pull action latch clamps are utilised for common applications such as molding, assembly and closures for doors, lids or covers in the aerospace, automotive, food & packaging, and consumer goods industries.
