Dutton-Lainson WG2000 Series worm gear winches are designed for hauling and lifting applications for use in both horizontal and vertical orientations. These units feature a rigid welded reel that eliminates the need for freewheel mode or other mechanisms and automatically stops turning when cranking is stopped, thereby locking load in position. Selected models are equipped with a 5/8 inch hex drive that permits operation with the help of an electric drill hooked directly to the drive shaft which increases speed & productivity. All units feature steel construction having a RoHS compliant, zinc-plated TUFFPLATE finish to provide 3 times corrosion resistance than that of standard zinc plating.
