These cement mixers feature 360 degree swivel for uniform mixing and are equipped with blades made of steel for resisting corrosion on exposed surfaces. They come with a pin locking facility for added safety and deliver a maximum drum rotating speed of 28 rpm.
Wheelbarrow cement mixers have polyethylene drums for resistance against cracks, rust and dents, and ensure easy drum cleaning. These wheelbarrow cement mixers are equipped with belt / direct drive motors for operation with minimal noise, in additon to increased positional & speed accuracy. Generally, Kushlan Products wheelbarrow cement mixers take thirty to sixty minutes for mixing concrete for small jobs.
Turn on your mixer drum so that it starts spinning and pour in water & some gravel to begin cleaning the inside of the drum. Use about 2-1/2 gallons of water and 12 shovels of gravel to create a mixed volume, equivalent to 3 cubic feet.
It is important to know the minimum mixing time for producing concrete having high mechanical strength and uniform composition. The mixing period or time should be measured from the time all the cementing materials or aggregates are in the mixer drum, till taking out the concrete.
You can start by adding 7 litres (1.5 gallons) of water into the drum and can add more, depending on the volume of mixture required. You can add a small amount of aggregate before adding cement, in order to prevent sticking.
Kushlan Products wheelbarrow cement mixers can rotate in both directions: one for keeping the concrete mixed during transportation and the reverse for extracting the mixture.
The maximum hourly production capacity of a cement mixer can be calculated by multiplying the maximum batch capacity of the mixer by the number of mixing cycles per hour. The duration of a mixing cycle is calculated by adding the mixing, filling and discharge time.
