Oldham Coupling

Lovejoy Oldham couplings are used to connect two drive shafts for transmitting torque while accomodating parallel misalignment, absorbing shock and providing electrical isolation. These units feature two aluminium hubs with a polyacetal slotted disc allowing full-free movement of the hubs and providing torsional stiffness and high torque capacity at a maximum temperature of 176 degrees F. They further come with an anti-backlash design for eliminating the need of additional lubrication; ideal for use with shaft encoders, medical equipment and stepper motors.
