Justrite 28198 activated carbon filter is used to replace the carbon cartridge portion of the hand-operated Aerosolv coalescing filter / carbon cartridge. It recycles depressurised aerosol cans and removes harmful VOCs released by punctured aerosol cans.

Working Mechanism:

• A cartridge is encased within the housing to eliminate or filter unwanted particles, including chemicals & pollutants.
• A non-sparking pin punctures the can and these unwanted particles pass through the filter element and exit.
• The bottom cartridge transforms residual liquids into droplets and collects them in the cartridge reservoir by safely draining them into the drum.
• The top activated cartridge indicates saturation, serving as a replacement reminder.
