It features a 6-inch-long hook rule with machine-divided graduations of 8ths, 16ths, 32nds & 64ths; and a sliding head along the rule with a thumb-nut lock.
This Starrett tool can also be used as a plain rule, hook rule, depth gage and slide caliper.
