QUINCY LAB

The brand's catalogue includes bench / lab ovens and analogue / digital / air forced incubators for laboratories and clinical, industrial & physicians' offices. Quincy Lab's digital incubator features a high-grade aluminium interior that allows heated air to circulate within an open plenum between the inner chamber and the exterior wall. This unique design eliminates the need for blowers or fans to prevent cross-contamination of samples. It includes a PID microprocessor that accurately maintains settings within +/-5 degrees C even in varying power supply conditions. It further offers a unique tracking feature that indicates any control malfunction or power loss during the process. The brand's mechanical conventional oven is used for drying, baking, sterilising, evaporating, heat treating, annealing and testing applications. The exterior has a hard, scratch-resistant steel construction with hammer finish and the door comes with a high-impact thermoplastic handle. The oven's temperature is controlled by an automatic bi-metal thermostat and the control panel is equipped with an illuminated on / off rocker switch for user convenience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are slide cabinets?

Slide cabinets are designed for pathological labs, research institutes and hospitals to protect valuable items and instruments. They are made of heavy-gauge steel with baked-on enamel finish for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. They also feature a safety stop to eliminate falling out when extended and have phenolic pull knobs for easy hold.

What is the purpose of a strip heater?

Strip heaters are used for bending and forming plastics for various applications. They feature guardrails on each side to keep the part perpendicular to the heating element for more accurate heating.

How to install an incubator?

  • Place the incubator on a flat surface. Maintain a minimum of 3-inch airspace around the unit and a minimum of 16-inch airspace above the unit for placing the thermometer.
  • Install the desired shelves as per application requirement.
  • Insert the thermometer assembly into the port through the top of the incubator by using a slow twisting motion.
  • Plug the unit into the grounding outlet rated for the model's electrical requirement.
