  • They are ideal for supporting pipe assemblies transporting both liquids and gases.
  • These U-bolts feature screw threadings on both ends to ensure a secure connection.
  • These U-bolts are available in cushioned, square / round bend, plate, long tangent, round and standard configurations.
  • Anvil U-bolts are used with hex nuts for supporting both light & heavy loads and are also ideal for handling copper, glass, brass and aluminium pipes. These U-bolts feature carbon steel / stainless steel construction for withstanding both tensile and compressive stresses. They offer zinc plated / 304 stainless steel finish for resistance against oxidation on the exposed surfaces.

How to install U-bolts?

  • Remove both nuts from all sides of the U-bolt.
  • Place the U-bolt around the pipe to be attached and thread the ends of the bolt through the holes in the supporting beam or structure.
  • Thread all the nuts on each of the bolt's outer ends.
  • Tighten the nuts that are closest to the support beam manually.
  • Finally, tighten the outer nuts on ends of the U-bolt with a wrench or an influence tool.

What safety precautions should be taken while using U-bolts?

  • Before using, check for damages that may be caused due to the high pressure exerted while pulling a load with a truck.
  • Tighten the nuts if loosen to prevent slipping.
  • Replace the U-bolt if any crack is found.
  • If the U-bolt is rusted, get a new one.
