Eaton E30 Series pushbutton operators function as switches to control circuits in factory automation, process control and machine control devices. These operators activate the corresponding switch for instantaneous control and come in a range of configurations and styles, including momentary, maintained contact and illuminated & non-illuminated versions. These UL-listed pushbutton operators come with incandescent lamps for enhanced illumination in low-light conditions. They feature a zinc base die casting to withstand harsh environments and a copper-nickel-chrome plated finish to resist dust, dirt, corrosion and wear & tear.
Eaton E30 pushbutton operators with indicating lights are used in control consoles & industrial OEM applications to provide visual feedback to the operator and make it easier to see the status of the circuit or system at a glance.
They can operate at temperatures ranging from -20 to 150 degrees F (?29 to 65 degrees C).
Momentary contact pushbutton operators close the circuit only while being pressed. They are generally used to control circuits or systems that need to be activated for a short period of time like during starting or stopping of a machine.
Maintained contact pushbutton operators, on the other hand, remain in the closed position until the button is pressed again to open the circuit. They are generally used to control circuits or systems that need to remain in a particular state till the operator manually changes it.
