They are used to protect electrical switches, receptacles & plugs against accidental disconnects due to the entry of water into these devices. These UL listed & CSA certified covers feature cast aluminium / thermoplastic / polycarbonate construction for impact resistance & thermal efficiency, and are capable of being operated at temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 degrees C.
