Flame-resistant balaclavas by Salisbury are worn over the head to protect head, ears & neck from arc flash dangers, when used with AS1000 Series face shields / hard hats / chin cups. Beige coloured balaclavas are made of 40% P84, 55% Lenzing & 5% Kevlar(R) & have an ATPV (Arc Thermal Performance Value) rating of 20 cal/sq.cm, while white coloured balaclavas are made of 20% Nomex(R) & 80% Lenzing & have an ATPV rating of 10 cal/sq.cm.
