86B-400 Series 3 Piece Full Port Butt Weld Ball Valves

Apollo 86B-400 Series butt weld ball valves are ideal for secure and efficient connections in pipelines in the oil & gas, chemical and petrochemical industries. Their butt weld design ensures reliable and leak-free joints for handling demanding pressures and corrosive substances. They feature a full port design for minimising pressure drop and promoting a smooth fluid passage. These weld ball valves incorporate stainless steel trim and hardware for rigidity and resistance to corrosion. They feature pressure-balanced solid ball construction for maintaining optimal seal integrity and flow control. These valves are equipped with compression-controlled spiral wound gaskets ensuring a secure seal, minimising the risk of leakage. They feature an anti-blowout one-piece bottom entry stem for safety and stability, preventing stem displacement. Their statically grounded ball, stem and body design minimises the potential for static discharge, enhancing operational safety. These valves have a two-position locking mechanism that enhances control and security by enabling secure open & closed positions. They are incorporated with adjustable multi-piece PTFE V-style packing to offer effective sealing and reduce maintenance needs. These valves allow fully machined ISO 5211 mounting for easy integration into larger systems and have cast bosses on the centre section and end caps. They can operate efficiently in vacuum service conditions to withstand up to 29 inches of mercury (Hg) vacuum.
