Its design provides maximum hand clearance between the handle & the clamping bar for ensuring easy clamping. This hold down action clamp is ideal for applications that require working on the same workpiece repeatedly. This toggle clamp features a U bar style clamping arm having a hex head stainless steel spindle for keeping the workpiece stationary throughout the operation & preventing it from loosening / slipping. It features a flanged style base that can be screwed onto flat surfaces / workbenches for secure installation. It has stainless steel construction to provide strength and preven bending / breaking under heavy loads. However, this clamp is not recommended for machining applications.
