It easily sits on countertops and is also wall-mountable with an optional wall hanger. This model is constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall, with 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space for fire resistance. The fully welded, not riveted, construction holds the squareness of the unit for a longer life and offers greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced. The high-performance, manual-close, self-latching door (fail safe, 3-point stainless steel) opens to a full 180 degrees and closes securely for maximum protection under fire conditions when pushed shut. Continuous piano hinges ensure the door closes smoothly every time. For added security, each cabinet comes with an innovative U-Loc? handle that does not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch. Cabinets include a cylinder lock and key set, or you can choose to use your own padlock.
