Straight line action clamps are suitable for secure holding of workpieces using movement of the clamp plunger along its axis. These clamps can be locked either in extended position only for use as push clamps or in both extended and retracted positions for use as both pull and push clamps. They are ideal for testing, welding, fixturing, tensioning, CNC machining & plastic injection moulding applications that require frequent clamping and declamping operations. Destaco 650 straight line action clamp (Destaco 650 Series) comes with a forged handle to move the round sliding plunger and lock it in both pulling and pushing directions for holding workpieces. The clamp handle is easily operable and rotates backwards to fall below the mounting plane to lock the clamp in the retracted position. It has the largest holding capacity of Destaco's straight line action clamps and a flanged base for supporting heavy duty clamping of workpieces. This clamp has steel construction with a forged base to provide structural rigidity and prevent wear & tear due to abrasive environments. It has an imperial internal threaded plunger for quick fastening of the imperial threaded spindle to hold workpieces.
